The July Board of Directors meeting was very special because of the acknowledgment of few individuals who helped CBE meet its mission over the past few years.
First, the new Board was installed for FY 2010/2011 which is so important because of the direction and support the board provides the agency. The Executive Committee is Brenda Blickenstaff, President, Marty Guerra, Vice President, Gary Raso, Secretary, Beth Thatcher, Treasurer, & Becky Bartmess, Past President. As you may all know, the Board of Directors is a volunteer board and deserves to be acknowledged for the work they do on behalf of persons with developmental disabilities and the employees of CBE.
Second, CBE recognized some special individuals and organizations because of the work they have done to assist families and persons with developmental disabilities. The awards that were presented were:
